Corn Bhlian Mhuire U13 County Louth Final 2014
Monastery NS U13 gaelic football team created a unique piece of history by winning the Corn Bhlian Mhuire schools U13 County title for the 3rd consecutive year. This incredible championship treble came at the end of a tough and enthralling final against Friary Boys NS Dundalk at Darver on Saturday, June 14th. Monastery NS emerged winners by a margin of 2 points in a scoreline of 4-7 to 3-8.

Monastery National School have now qualified for the final of the McArdle Cup, 2013 in Monasterboice, on Saturday November 9th. The team is trained and managed by Master McCreanor and Ms Cusack.

Louth GAA 7 A Side Blitz Final
Monastery NS retained their Louth GAA Under 13 Seven a Side shield in great style. The Blitz Final took place in Dromiskin on Wednesday, April 8th, 2014. Our boys played Dundalk Friary, Carlingford and Callystown NS, Clogherhead and won all games.
The team was Luke Dunne, Callum Markey, Tiernan Corrigan, Jonathan Commins (Captain), Tom Jackson, Karl Gillespie, Conor O'Brien, Pauric McKenney and Cillian Keenan.

Monastery NS U13 Gaelic Team Play in Croke Park!
Monastery NS represented Louth when they played in a mini 7s match against a Laois school team in Croke Park. They played at half time during the Dublin V Laois match. This was a tremendous thrill for the boys and one they will never forget.
