Environmental Committee 2012-2013

Our Vegetable produced some excellent carrots and spuds in September 2012.

V & W Recycling Centre September 2012

Monastery NS Environmental Committee visited Ardee's new recycling centre, V & W Recycling, at Ardee Business Park in September 2012. The boys were there to celebrate V & W's recycling of over 500 tons of waste to date. The boys received recycling bags and containers for our school.

Our Environmental Committee planted over 100 Daffodil Bulbs in November 2012.

Mrs McGrory's Senior Infants made their own bird feed and filled the bird feeders in our infant yard. The birds are so glad to have something to eat in the cold weather of January and February.
