6th CC - Challenge 3: LAUNCH DAY
The third challenge of the Sixth Class Challenge concluded with our Water Bottle Rocket Launch Day. This event brought great excitement to the pupils of our school, gathering in large numbers to witness the launch of the rockets.
The 6th class pupils grew nervous as they looked upon the crowd. At the same time, they were feeling confident, as they had done their very best to create a functional water bottle rocket. To make the rockets, the boys used recyclable materials such as a water bottle, cardboard, styrofoam, tennis ball and a cork. They gathered materials and began to build their rockets at home, designing it in a fashion of their choice.
The Launch Day was a massive success. The younger classes looked on in wonder and awe at what the boys of 6th class had created. In their minds, this was a fantastic scientific feat. The pupils of 6th class were also proud of what they had achieved during this challenge and were delighted with the efficiency of their rockets.
They would all agree that they have certainly earned their third, secret reward! Well done boys.
