6th CC: Challenge 1 - Fundraising For Concern

The first challenge of our Sixth Class Challenge this year required the boys to 'help out at home'. Each day, the boys had to perform a chore as picked by their parents/ guardians at home. They did so well that many parents want to keep this challenge going!

The second part of our challenge involved raising money for Concern. The campaign focused on helping children who have fled their homes and have no place to sleep or keep warm during harsh winter conditions in foreign countries. Our class did a sponsored walk through Ardee wearing Christmas Jumpers, ran laps of our school field and went door to door asking for the help of our community. 

The boys managed to raise a whopping total of €1000 and as a special reward, they all earned 'The Master's Meal' - A burger and chip from a local Ardee takeaway. Well deserved, well done boys!
