In October the children were busy working on the farm, they all took on the role of farmers, they fed the cows, collected eggs, went horse riding, took the tractor for a spin and reenacted the story of 'The pig in the pond' using water and pretend mud.
In November the children have been playing in the Café. They've ben working as cooks, chefs, waiters, waitresses and some even playing the customer. The chidlren also enjoyed using food and paint to make prints.
During science week the children had fun experimenting. They coloured water using food colouring and added flowers to the coloured water, they learned how flowers drink water up through the stem to the petals. The enjoyed seeing the petals change colour. They also added a gummy bear to water and looked on in amazement the next day as the gummy bear had tripled in size and drank lots of the water.
