We've been thoroughly enjoying the good weather we've had in May. The children played the Garden center in Aistear this month. They had great fun playing gardeners, customers and workers in the garden center. They got their little hands dirty plenty of days from the soil. Plenty of flowers were potted and seeds were planted too.
The children also enjoyed their first school tour this month. We headed to Red Mountain Open farm and had a wonderful day. The children played football, feed the animals, played in the playground, went on a tractor ride, drove the play tractors and had a look at some more of the animals; goats, donkeys, cows, rabbits, ducks, calves, chickens and lots more. They also enjoyed seeing Poppy the dog roaming around the farm.
The warm weather means ice-creams in school. The children cooled off with some ice-lollies after some fun in the sun! We've also been visiting the beach in Aistear and having lots of fun playing with the sand.
