Sixth Class Challenge 2013
The “Sixth Class Challenge” is a programme designed by Monastery National School to engage and motivate pupils in their final year of Primary School. We feel it has been of great benefit in developing self esteem and in promoting team spirit and positive behaviour among the pupils. Other benefits include a sense of achievement and a sense of pride in ones abilities. In all, the pupils are presented with six challenges.Monastery school would like to think that students would have fond memories of the “Sixth Class Challenge” in years to come.
This year's Challenge is going really well with all 30 boys achieving the first and second challenges. The third challenge is now in progress. See photographs of the boys getting theri second reward, a bowling session, on the right.
For the first time in the history of the 6th Class Challenge all 30 of our boys succeeded in getting all of the 5 challenges. Click here to view their excellent school magazine.
